Default What have I found under the o/s rear thats leaking?

I noticed a damp patch on the road last night so this morning I thought i'd take a look, Discovered a small radiator & some plastic thing with 2 pipes on it & an electrical connection, This plastic thing has a metal back which has got very rusty & has diesel weeping from it, So what is this setup for & where will I find a replacement for the plastic thing that's leaking,,,,,Cheers.

I assume you mean the fuel cooler? and I assume that the metal attachment bracket has rusted away? if this is the case - this could be allowing the cooler to be hanging at an angle that is allowing the cooler pipe to leak like happened on my cars..

From my experience - this seems to be a common thing on the diesels.. I have manufactured and replaced 3 brackets so far. see pics..

I was just trying to make out how the bracket is mounted as there is almost nothing left of mine, My ground wire is also blowing in the breeze (rad end) & got to find where that connects, I would like to take up your offer of the bracket as it will save me a lot of faffing about, For now I will resort to the ever faithful cable ties to get me out of trouble

Cheers Kev, I trust the car will run OK without the ground wire being connected?, I think it may have been hanging off already to be honest but not 100% certain.
