Quite simply - YES!

Have a look at Artic's Nano meet photo's on diesel exchange EGR / Manifolds.
Really well worth the money!

Colin. If you want to find out if having your egr/manifold cleaned out of all the crud that has accumulated over the years, get yourself up to the Nano Meet at The Four Ashes in March, where I am sure Artic(Steve) will let you watch as he changes manifolds from cars for a cleaned one and egr/ mapsensor replacement. If you look at my earlier post this week, there are photos of both manifolds and map sensors removed from cars, including mine and my friends. If the map sensor is blocked, likely, then your car will not be running the correct mixture for combustion. Less mpg in other words. My friend and I both use our cars in more or less the way. My friend was getting less mpg round the houses than I was. My map had still a small hole in it
, my friends was completely blocked. Draw your own conclusions from that.

Odd question.
Does anything perform optimally when it's full of s***?
