Ours used to have flowers on. Now it has flowers in it. They call it the passage of time. And that.

Blimey you must have been posh.

The loo was outside attached to the shed in it's own building.
It was okay in the summer but in the winter, you got given a torch and there was always wellies and a coat by the back door.

The chamber pot was for emergencies if you had to go in the night!

A torch - that was a bit technical - all we had was a stable lamp and two bits of wood to rub together to get a spark
