Default Immobiliser problem - cranking, not starting

Hey, the car is rover 75 cdt. An ecu/immo/chip set was changed, because the immobiliser was damaged by water (so was the wires). But the car won't start. Will the fault probably be in damaged wires to immobiliser? An electric has soldered a new connector, but said that some wire colors were different (the original ones and from the connector bought at scrappy's)

I've connected diagnostic software and it doesn't even find the immobiliser. Thanks.
