cam cover
I have a problem with the cam cover it is starting to seep oil not a big problem. but would like it sorted, I have read an article where it says that the cam bolts can come slightly loose, what I would like to know if this is true, appreciate any help you could give cheers joe.

I would think the best way to see if they are loose is to check and see!
If they are fitted correctly I would see no reason why they should loosen any more than other fixing on the engine. It is worth repairing this - oil will seep down onto the exhaust manifold and create the most dreadful fumes. From memory the gaskets are about £8 each. While the covers are removed, check that the wire guaze is clear and that the breather holes are also unblocked. |
