Repaired one of my two wrecked T4's today after they'd been plugged into a car with some extreme electrical gremlin roaming around at Carter Bar on Sunday

Let's just say I wasn't happy when I discovered the price of the parts required for the T4 Mobile Plus

Still you can't beat a good rant followed by a spirited drive home to save you from punching someone on the nose

Airbag light came on. Squeezed connector under drivers seat, airbag light now off. I hope all of my repairs are that easy!

Revotec fan to fit this weekend.......

Just fitted inline thermostat , removed engine cover no problem, all three bolts for air intake had to be cut off , out with the grinder , removed steel clip to top hose by engine block , NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- plastic pipe wouldnt pull off didnt want to break it so spent a good 30 mins on me knees using a triangle needle file to cut through stainless band, all back to gether except now one of the engine cover bolts is pinching up befor its home, temperature gauge moved up to 9 o clock after a run alls good.

I didn't change the glow plugs on the MGZT today as it is a 190 but I did on the FL 1 TD4 and I am pleased to say all went nice no snapped off ones.

Took it for a good drive to get the engine heated up removed all the manifold etc and used a good six sided socket with and good extension bar and 20" ratchet how to will follow as it is the same job for the R40 diesel. Arctic.

Removed the scrivets from the sill trim, removed the bumper and changed the bonnet release cables, and drivers side front wing.

Colour match isn't perfect but looks considerably better in terms of shape

Just need to sort out a couple more niggles, but apart from two oil changes and a CV joint, not bad for a car I've done 11,000 miles in seven months.

Oh and the sunroof doesn't leak, nor does the boot, just in case you thought I was talking about it's big brother
