Hi Jockey

I'm delighted with the performance of my Tourer towing, but it will really depend on what you are towing. Obviously the lighter the better, but mine weighs about 1350 kg.

Diesels generally have more low down grunt for towing than petrol, but an auto box may rob you of some power.

No doubt the diesel caravanners will be along to comment.

Chris

Continental Headlight Conversion: Chris - Rover produced special clip on converters - I bought mine on Ebay a year back. They are clear not yellow.(Found it easier to programme our old video than work out which cut out and stick option was appropriate...). Robert

I used (Don't Have any more) a 1550KG Caravan with my Tourer Automatic CDTi with Remap & Synergy. It had no Problems what so ever and if it can Manage the Roads and mountains of Wales, should present no problems anywhere else.

Default rover75 rhd needs lhd conversion headlights in Spain Help?

information for my father who is currently in Spain. He has taken his right hand drive Rover 75 2.0l diesel out there forever. The car is mint and he has renovated everything underneath, powder coated sub frames new clutch etc it is like a brand new car. The car passed its MOT here in England, but failed in Spain because he needs to refit left hand drive headlamps permanently. Do you know of anywhere I can get these? Ebay is silly money? Does anyone know of anyone breaking or salvaging parts from a car? The part no for the lhd units is XBC002560. I have emailed someone in Portugal and also someone in Belgium but had no reply. Many Thanks
I have also posted this and translated into four languges on the international forum.
Regards
