Wow, that is an orgasmically nice collection of photos. I think my ZT is actually Firefrost Red - will find out tomorrow when I get it. Lovely.
I was thinking recently why car manufacturors so rarely ever make cars deep purple.. always thought it would look soooooo good on my Rover 600 along with some nice big shiny alloys. So, I note there is the Bacchus - unfortunately the photo of the "5,000,000" bacchus model is rubbish, but the bacchus lower section on the duotone black/bacchus car shows how loverly it looks. Has anyone got any decents photos of a pure Bacchus one I can salivate over? |

The picture of the 5,000,000 Rover does not do it justice, I have seen this 75 on show at Longbridge and in the flesh the colour is a much richer metalic red.
Having said that, the lower part of the Duotone Tourer, Black over Baccus or possibly Dark Fantasy does not seem be the same red colour as the 5,000,000 car |

Fantastic collection of colours there, if only you can change the colour for free afterwards!
Mine looks like Mirage Kinetic, but, my paint code is IAU, so a bit confusing there as other people have said it is Mirage as well

More Pictures Added
I have just obtained the MG Rover Monogram CD Rom, which gives 3D computer models of all the missing colours.
So I've added these to the picture gallery as place holders until we can get pictures of the real thing. Take a look at the Duotone combos.........anyone for Platinum Gold / Spice !?! |
