Default Diesel in tank pump running on when engine hot

Hi I know its a bit of a strange one and may not have anything to do with the diesel but....
when my twin turbo t16 engine is hot and i turn the engine off the in tank fuel pump is still running until i switch the ignition back on and then it works as normal until i turn off again with the engine hot?,

when the engine is cold it works all ok,

any ideas?,
i have not heard of the t16 engine running the fuel pump on when the fuel engine is hot/fuel hot but didnt know if the zt has this facility to run the pump on to cool the fuel?

Oh and the running gear and bcm is all diesel.
