What shall I upgrade my Harmony unit with?
Ive got a 2000 Rover 75 basic model (Classic SE I think), with the built in basic audio unit which I believe is called HARMONY.
To be honest I quite like the look of it as its larger and integrated like modern cars (as apposed to a single din unit that old cars have) However, other than play radio (not overly well either) my only option to play music is with cassette. I would ideally like to be able to play music from my phone, I don't really need bluetooth - I am happy to plug it in via AUX or whatever. I do, as said above, like the OE look. I dont wan't a cheap tacky single DIN with flashing blue lights from Halfords like I used to put in my Saxo and Rover 214 I also dont want to spend £300 on the touch screen units, as nice as they are. I want to keep costs down. What are my options? |

If you want to play MP3 files on the unit (as you asked in the sticky) you might want to try this:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32791620758.html Tune in on the frequency of the device and you can enjoy MP3 files with reasonable quality. I have been using it for a short time in one of my cars and was not disappointed. All you need is a cigarette lighter in the cubby box and you'll be set You can probably get these on FleeBay as well.
