Actually we have five, all with original engines.
Wife's green one, good condition in running order, jst have the h/brake to adjust before attempting an mot - she wants to sell it.
A white one running with mot when bought, but now won't start and suspected clutch stuck; pretty rusty but doable.
Another white one bought as a project, fairly extensively dismantled but complete but with rust in the usual places.
A blue one, the accidental ebay buy, which had been a concours car but stored off the road near the Scottish coast before I got it has ruined it. Too far gone IMHO and being used for spares
A blue one bought less the engine, basically sound.
The first three are for sale. I've not advertised nor put them on ebay, though might eventually if pushed by the wife.
Not sure if this is the right forum to post (or even discus!!) non Rover cars, but could no doubt get details to anyone interested. I'm in Yorkshire.

Horses for courses, I had one identical to this, 1979 model, but the 1.7 hl... in 1984... cost me the princely sum of £80 off a relative... loved it to bits.... very roomy compared to many of the current euro tin boxes... Cars just had more style back then.

As there's a strong Leyland heritage here... May I post something from the Truck and Bus Division? My Leyland Zoo...

Yes of course, fill your boots! The more the merrier.

Nice badges, when I was at school we used to travel on Leyland Leopards. Such a fantastic noise.
I actually started cleaning the buses when I was 14. I was even allowed to shunt them in the yard!

I think I've found classic car chat Heaven.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Corti...AAAOSwP~tW1rvs

Put this on watch a few days ago, have been tempted to buy it and restore, then again the probe will need to be done first.

Would love a Ford Cortina, Granada, Sierra, Capri and many more classic Fords.

Cortina does need a bit of work, but can be saved and the engine runs. how ever some of the interior has been removed.

Welcome aboard Dave,

The Cortina looks saveable. I have memories of my Aunts silver Cortina. As a little boy I used to sit on the arm rest! Days before seatbelts!!!

My dad had a Mk3 Ford Cortina back in the early 90's, remember sitting in it and trying to climb over the seat so I could sit on the front.

Also drove a Mk4 Ford Cortina around the fields by the house as we rent it when we used to have horses.

Did like them and quite fond of them, there's one in Llanrug a small village about 7 miles away from mine, the owner Rhys has had is Ford Cortina Mk2 from new, he was the only owner of the car and still on this day still drives, when I go past and speak to him I'll get a few snaps.
