No disrespect but Tobacco Leaf is my least fave colour on a P6 though it did work better with the Huntsman (tan) vinyl as opposed to the Ebony (black)

It was a money pit Phil, The car needed alot of welding which my dad did at which time noticed the rear discs where really rusty so i sat in the car while it was on ramp and my dad span the rear wheel and i put my foot on the brake and nothing happened so i bought 2 recon callipers and a set of rear discs and then it passed its mot. then we looked at the front and i was prodding and it just fell to pieces as it was rotten as a pear the interior was rubbish and so was the whole car. I sold it to someone on the mainland for £250 in the end.

I will have another one in the near future

Doh.
Would my Marina be massively better on fuel than a 2.0 P6?

No idea Phil but a 2000SC manual should be high 20's & even 30mpg driven carefully, the TC's & autos however are thirsty

I don't remember ever working it out on the black car after I converted it to manual but it was vastly improved over when it was auto..............my 1st P6 was a 2200TC & on a run 22MPG was all you could expect but round the doors it was in the teens
