Is theri another phone paired to it in the car at the same time? If so, it can only have one paired unit " live".

Many thanks for that, the radio is asking to disconnect, the trouble is I transferred my number from my old phone to my HTC Sensation, my old phone was a Samsung.
Therefore would it suggest the radio is still recognising the Samsung???

I only had the WinCE for a short period of time but IIRC it is not hard to remove obsolete BT devices from the unit through the interface. If possible do a reset after removing if the new phone still isn't recognised.
