Does anyone else think it odd in any way that Channel 4 weather is now including prayer times for the Moslem community?

I guess it will be to do with Ramadan and what time the sun goes down etc.
Sounds like a very thoughtful thing to do for those observing Ramadan

That is exactly what it is for

Been a big hullabaloo about it, apparently Some People don't like those nasty non uk born folk types getting airtime on their all white UK Born channels

Ramadan is one hell of an Epic journey to undertake, I for one doubt I could be devoted enough to do it. I love Food too much

I worked with a devout Muslim last year and into the early part of this year, he was such a lovely person and showed none of the 'alleged' Intolerance for Britons that is shown against Muslims within the British Community. He taught me more about Muslims than any Hate Inciting Rag Publication could.... Or any Hate Filled Person with no true knowledge of being Muslim for that Matter.

I find it somewhat hilarious that the UK is hailed as the most "Tolerant" Country in the World, when it comes to Ethnic Groups........

I would like to issue a public apology for the thread I started and the way it was worded. It was an ill conceived and inappropriate thread and I am embarrassed and ashamed of starting it in the first place.
I too have worked with Muslims (in the Middle East for four years as it happens) and I met some great people. I wasn't aware of the kerfuffle this C4 decision had caused but now I have read up on it some more I can see where they're coming from. The thread does not represent my daily outlook or my views and I would respectfully request that the thread be closed.
I am sorry if I have caused offence.
