Good morning Jeff

How is Ivy, Ros and yourself?

I had a miserable day yesterday, using buses, many changes and over 4O bus stops to and from the registrar for deaths, 5 hours and got back wiped out. He refused to register the death as I am not a blood relative and must provide him with a letter of authority first from a family member. He kept the death certificate, citing it his property but would not do the register, blah and humbug. Red tape mess up.... Mike did not want any of his family involved in tying up his affairs or sorting out the funeral. What a pain and a delay to the funeral and probate.

Good morning Richard. I spoke to Mikes daughter last night. She lives in Gloucester. I asked her to do the letter and use a first class stamp to send it to me. She said she found a book of 1st class stamps pinned up on Mikes notice board and can use one of them for the task. I was disappointed by the red tape.

How are you Richard?

We are all okay Sir.

Ivy is still up and down but at least we know she is safe where she is and hopefully things will get a bit better for her once she has had a further assessment .
Maybe then they can get the right cocktail of drugs that help with her anxiety but without knocking her out !

Sounds like you had an awful time of it yesterday .
Red tape and bureaucracy abound where it isn't needed these days

Hope the arrangements get easier from now on and Mike can be laid to rest without hinderence from pen pushers.

Good morning Derek, true words in every sense.

Has Andy changed his mobile recently, I could not get through. I sent him messages on face book a few days ago and no reply. If you are in touch with him, can you please ask him to check his face book private messages, thank you
