It’s fairly p ing here today, I manage to cut the big bush just before it started raining. Need to take a bit on top of it do a bit lower to cut each month before it gets too big.

Good morning all, good morning Richard

It’s great to hear about the visit to Holy Island with your son and the penultimate - Fish N Chips, what a treat and well deserved.

We were out all day yesterday and we spent part of it swimming in the tidal pool at Clevedon. The width of the pool is 100 meters so I managed to swim the 100m, Jessica swam 200m before getting out.

And what a lovely day it was.

The chap who we met at the weekend who had the brain surgery 12 months ago, has invited us to go swimming with him and his wife (Jessica’s cousin) on Friday for more open water swimming not far away….it’s a private club and we are going as guests, but we have to swim a minimum of 50m to be allowed in. Something else to look forward to and it’s helping me prepare for my general fitness for the operation. Fortunately I have always been a strong swimmer all my life

Today I am staying in as I am expecting deliveries I have to sign for

Soon I'll find repose

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

The sun is shining, so a trip to Felbrigg is on the cards. National Trust card, where are you?
