Just clicked, LOL

If we joined all the now surpless hoses together, we could run them from Scotland. No water metering, no useage monitoring, ample supplies.

I have decided to keep mine and connect it to the rainwater tank I have. Strangely enough this is full, filled by the anti-drought stuff falling from the heavens and getting my nice clean car dirty.
Comming from a country where a drought is not having rain for 6-8 months and temperatures of 25-32 degrees, I wonder ......

Yep we are right in the middle of the map, i am told we have a large river...approx 15 or so miles away... "Tames... Thems".... something like, that which i do belivie is connected to the sea..sorry only have "O" level geography, Why cant we take water from there,I have a mate who lives in Spain, and pays 9 Euros a year extra to fill his pool...they dont run short of water...loads of the stuff... maybe just maybe? it has something to do with the 2 guys who just got a million pounds each (probably a bonus) for running...hoohoh one of local water companies....
Looks like profits and shareholders first again,
weres me bucket.....?

Essex and Suffolk Water dont have restrictions, we have an abundance of fresh clean water due to paying more council tax than the paupers
