Default Supercharged V8

Yesterday I had the privilege of being taken for a ride in a supercharged V8 ZT-T....it was an experience.. Very smooth, fabulous power, stomping torque from 1000 rpm...and I mean stomping..and a very very quiet engine...with just a little supercharger whine in the background...the exhausts were another matter however..

Would I get mine done? Yes!
Can I get mine done? No.
Is it worth the money? Umm...on the face of it, absolutely not, it makes no sense at all....but having been in this one...definitely!

Why can't you keep comments like this to yourself? Just when I'd managed to unjustify (is there such a word?) the cost of a S/C.

Yep makes no financial sence but akin to a drug. I can't get enough of the torque.

No regrets, if you get the chance do it!

It would have been nice with a photo. The engine space in the V8 is at best cramped, with a supercharger it would be even more so, and this is not a unit you fit in the booth.
I wonder how they do it. I have a supercharger on the shelf, just need the V8!!

Interestingly the engine space isn't that cramped...a least at the front! A goodly few inches gap in fact! The S/C takes up only a little more room than the old manifold and the alternator gets its position switched....and yes, I should have taken some photos but I think the owner would want it nice n shiny for such an occasion...
