A custom remap done properly on a healthy car will be much better than a generic one - fact.

Stephen is one of those guys that knows what he is doing and having it tuned on a rolling road to maximise the SOI/EOI settings, which can only be set correctly on one, all for £150 that is a steal!

We offer true custom written remaps with rolling road results for £150 , including EGR & MAF Delete .This includes a diagnostics session to ensure your pride & joy is running as she should before we do any work, on VVC engines for example we watch the cam duration in real time to check the mechanisms are working properly.

If Manchester is a bit too far we also offer remaps via post or through our agent in Peterborough (currently no rolling road available).

All the work we do is developed and written by us from countless hours of R&D. And because of our confidence in our work it currently comes with a try before you buy offer, so if you're not satisfied with the outcome in any way there's no fuss to put you back to how you came with no fee (can even keep the dyno results)

Any questions feel free to ask,

Hiya Steve how you doing matey really interesting stuff and wish you all the best in it.

Would you do other cars as well apart from MGR's.
I go too Manchester often and I could pop over and see you and get too learn about your work and write a report here.

Best of luck with the mapping lads, anyone that can offer a rolling road proven car specific map for £150 has got to be better value than a generic plug and play one. Proof will be in the pudding of course, let your results do the talking but I know where I'd spend my hard earned!

We are working on it. The Siemens unit is quite unique...the coding in MEMS & Bosch units are somewhat (for lack of a better word) readable. But we'll get there, when I started with the MEMS all those years ago I remember thinking "how in the world..." now it's becoming second nature to pick out all the tables.

Thank you Phil I've enjoyed our chats about EOI and the like, hopefully we'll get to meet in person someday (down the pub?) as I've got some ideas on additional features to put into the maps and would like to hear your thoughts

Certainly do, have a ZR in this weekend actually. Owner has no idea what modifications has been done so should be interesting...

We were planning on doing a step by step dyno test on the L series to show the effects of different combinations of modifications. Which would be handy for the community when considering what to go for in a more visual way. So far we only got to completely stock car with 14 psi of boost, a quick adjustment of boost would see more gains as things got a little smokey.

Thank you Tend to focus on MGR cars due to time constraints so would rather know we can do a few specific cars well rather than spin too many plates so to speak.
You're more than welcome to stop by and have a chat, I'm down at the unit most weekends so just drop me a message when you're interested

Thank you, we're lucky to be able to offer it at such a price. Agreed, we like to show our results and prefer to do things visually. Luckily we have such a market where the consumers have a wide range of choice for these things, keeps us sellers on our toes and constantly innovating

Come on guys no negative posts please. Another trader with another option, no reason to have to compare one against the other on this thread. If you want your car mapped speak to all involved and make your choice.

Power on an L-series can often be increased, sometimes hugely, without touching the existing map. If it's a 25/45 or MG/streetwise variants thereof then the injectors from the older 200/400/600 are a straight swap and considerably increase power (with a bit more smoke too), whilst increasing the boost pressure is just a case of twisting the adjuster on the wastegate actuator arm. EGR disable on all diesel Rovers is as simple as pulling the vacuum pipe off the EGR valve, or unplug the wiring to the modulating solenoid valve - none of which will cause MIL except perhaps on the very latest cars. De-catting can also help at higher revs. And after you've done all the above, take it for a remap so the ECU can better use the modifications to squeeze out the last few horses!

I did the above on my old 45 and apart from revealing a clutch starting to slip, it had power to keep up with (and overtake) most other cars except the performance-oriented stuff. With so much power, towing the caravan even through the peak and lake districts was a joy! Unfortunately the newer L-series in the 25/45 isn't as robust as the older engines and such modifications can (and did) eventually cause head-gasket failure, which is otherwise unheard of on a standard-tune L-series.

True, injectors from an earlier SDi model will give a boost even if they're getting harder/more expensive to get ahold of now. Combined with a remap and you'll get more power You can also have it tuned MAFless so one less thing to worry about. Although this isn't for everyone, some are happy with a good boost over standard (see dyno results above)

A proper EGR disable is also possible with mapping so at least no engine light/dirty hands. Handy if you want it off in case something else does cause it to come on. Can also have it mapped so the EGR activates when the engine is cold to help speed engine warm up (for economy and driver comfort) then switch off when engine is up to temp.
