Stray chipping through the grill, I suspect, judging by the look of it. Norfolk road care = spray (tar) and spread (gravel) and not clean up the excess spread properly, unfortunately!

Aircon man back on Friday with the bits. I've had all the bumper and slam panel nuts and bolts off, greased and back on again this afternoon, so we should have a quick job on Friday with any (good) luck.(weather permitting!) If you could just split the grill off and out, it could easily be managed through the gap but you know about designers and mechanics!

That’s not great news, hopefully you can get it repaired before the summer hot months arrives. At the moment the A/C has packed up on our 21 year old 4x4 Ford/Mazda Ranger and it’s £584 to repair so we are leaving it for now, running the car with the A/C off is not a problem. Where we are it’s winter.

Unfortunately someone else had borrowed the car whilst we were away and broke the Front differential which we had to replace at a cost of £900. We think whoever had been driving it, had left the front diffs on at high speed, something the car is not designed for.

Apart from the non working A/C, the car is running well.

I wonder what today will bring? I am seeing the Doc today for a check up. I have been overdoing it.

We have been in South Africa for the past few weeks. Every day, the country is subjected to power cuts called “Load Shedding”. Apparently it’s caused by poor maintenance at the power stations/broken parts or other reasons.

Here is a sample of todays power cuts….

A photo yesterday of the cousins vines. The family house on the mountain was in the clouds. The forecast today is clearer skies and warmer.

What is everyone up to?

Morning Phil, good luck with your leg problem.I’m doing a bit of extra walking but it’s depend if it’s good weather or wet. It was just a couple to and the back the local shops as there was a very cold wind and rain yesterday, but I’m still hoping the weather stays dry to give me more walking to give me the strength to get me used to the extra work I’m hoping to eventually get to.

We had a frost last night , but it’s meant to be a 9° and bright and sunny for the day. I’m getting a taxi to my aunt and uncle house in Ponteland, as my cousin is staying until tomorrow before going back to USA. I haven’t seen her since her brother’s wedding quite a lot of years ago, when my kids were fairly small and just little kids.
My kids are now 19 and 24 .

The garage?ooh well I hope the mice get caught, they eat just about anything that the mouths reach them.
We had a small one it was living while we were getting new floor and no skirting boards in the living room and it came beside the video machine before I bought some traps.
