Rear subframe fail-safe washers
Hello, Everyone. I know the rear subframe washers have been NLA for many years but has anyone ever found a suitable alternative please? I’ve got everything for the rear rebuild now except these pesky critters. Any help or direction would be very welcome. Thanks. James

Alternatively...
If anyone has a set in a parts box that they may no longer need, cash is waiting!

I was looking to get some laser cut, pressed and zinc plated as I've been refurbishing the rear sub frame on my Dad's ZT-T. Another part that is perhaps needed is the MG sub frame bushes. I reverse engineered the corroded parts but decided to leave out the cut out detail and had them turned up.

Those bushes look good! I’ve gone for the 75 bushes on the ZT, as (a) they’re available and (b) my lower back is grateful for all the help it can get! Let me know if you want to get those washers made up - I’ll happily have three sets.

Completed my rear suspension overhaul earlier this year and just had the failsafes cleaned off and re plated at a metal players.
Sure the traders will have plenty lying around that could go through the same process if your are too corroded.

I used a ZT subframe when overhauling the old man's tourer, and haven't had any reports of him hooning about like a lunatic. I can't see why they did it originally, as anyone who has used a 75 subframe in a ZT, don't suddenly say their car is like a blancmonge afterwards. There is one exception to that, but the bloke is a complete and utter tool who is best ignored Brian |

You’ll have to narrow that down a bit, Brian.
