Hmmmm...decking for the garden or a TM retrofit.....tough call...but suspect SWMBO would cut off me 'privileges' if I went for the latter....ouch..

Another to add to the wants list methinks...

Rimmers were out of stock,
but Dr Dave is selling complete kits for £85 + P&P on the Dark Side if needed before Rimmers get new Stock.

what is the complete kit, my only problem is fitting one. I have the HiLine system and would love the extra that this sytem gives. I am a real cluts when it comes to the mechanical things to do with these cars. The thought of riping out the dash really fills me with horror, as I know deep down I would screw up along the way and end up with an undrivable car. So for now its 1-0 car to me. Something for ther future I suspect.

Mine cost more than £50 from Rimmers.

The unit cost £51.51
The link wire £8.45
3x IDC £3.21

Total: £63.17

Although - now installed I didn't get the splash screen! Ahhhhh....

So not sure if it's working.

Does it illuminate when you are on a major route and then show bars depending on the block?

Any help/guidance gladly received!

Cheers,

Michael T

You should get the TM splash screen when you start your car.

Yes, that's what I'd read.. being a Diesel.. I'm wondering if starting from cold it won't show it because of the glow plug light - and the length of time it stays on display for?

Cheers,

Michael T

You still get the Traffic Master start up Screen on a Diesel regardless of the glow plugs etc.
If its not there its not working I'm afraid.
