Front Brake Shield Disc changing
Anyone able to give me some guidance to what's involved in replacing the front brake shields.

Mine were replaced a few months ago. You need to cut them across (o/s edge to centre) to make fitting a lot easier.

And the little bolts holding the old shield to the hub can be a right hassle to get off

Also be careful you don't round off the three tiny bolt heads that hold the back plates on. I had a struggle to remove the bolts on mine and I had the whole assemblies off the car. The heads had rusted badly on mine and I had to use mole grips to remove them. Replaced them with stainless flange head bolts
