Default Trim Vintage & Veteran Car Rally - 9th September 2012 - Co Meath

Trim Vintage and Veteran Rally has been running since 1985. It started in a small yard in Loman Street Trim with just 23 cars. The founder Norman Pratt determined to expand the show, approached the Roundtree family who very kindly gave us Porch fields to use on the day. One of the reasons for this rally is to raise funds for local Charities.

We have been invited to come down and join the event and bring our cars for display! Id really like to get a huge selection of cars down for this and will be a great opportunity for the southern members to come and join the fun after the all ireland rover enthusiasts day was cancelled!

Attractions at this years event include the following: Vintage, Veteran & Classic Cars, Vintage Tractors & Motor Cycles, Classic American Cars and lots of fun for all the family.

It has grown each year since then and now we have in excess of 500 cars and motor cycles on show. It has become a renowned family day out with a lot of different side shows to keep everyone happy from the young to the old.

It has become such a great day that the only thing that could spoil it would be the weather. 100 miles from Belfast, 150 miles from Cork and only 30 miles from Dublin!

They have had everything from The Slieve le Mon Armoured Car from the Civil War to the Presidential Rolls Royce. We have had great support from Northern Ireland and the northern visitors enlighten a lot of us greatly with their range of cars. We have also had the Morgan Club of Great Britain over to visit. We receive numerous entries but never know until the day what is going to turn up.

Now all this will be yours for only 5 euros for the all day experience! Now thats a bargain. That includes a driver and a single passenger all you need to do is fill out this form and post 5 euros to them. Cash or cheque is fine! Remember its international air mail BUT two first class stamps will cover you if you write "AIR MAIL" underneath the stamps. http://www.trimcarrally.ie/regform2012.pdf

Heres the link on google so everyone can see exactly where it is.... Trim Rally location

I hope to get a great croud for this one folks! Any interest please register it here please or on the facebook page!

Hi Colin,
Nice to meet you today, rain held off reasonably well.

I headed home early and fixed my rear light cluster and did a quick patch up on the load space cover. Will probably need to revisit both, but the cluster no longer rattles, quick cure epoxy is a wonderful product.
