Default Bram (Fred)

Hello, I am a Rover 75 CDT owner from Holland, the car is from 2001 and i
like him very well, but a year ago my fanmotor died with a big smell.
Now a bought from a man in England on Ebay a other (used) one.
I read all there is on this site about fan motors , resistors, wiring and so on, and it make a little bit nervous, i realy dont know.
The motor i bought is a 3 wired motor , with a Red. Black and Purple wire coming out of it.
The number on it is 772-65430-02, should i put a resistor on it, and between
what colours shall i put it.
Can you please send me help with eventual a drawing or a explanation how to do it.
And what test can i do to see if these motor is a good one, measuring or
put it on a batttery to look at the working.
I am very glad when you can help me wit this.

Greetings froom Holland Bram (Fred)

hello Bram,

If you have a three wire fan with no resistor I think you have a fan from an 1800 without Air Con. I am unsure if this fan is any good to you. Jules is the man who will know.

At the righthand side of the page just below where it says Welcome Bram. You will see in blue private messages. If you click on there it will take you to another page. On the left hand side of that page you will see a little way down send new message. If you click on there it brings you to a third page. in recipients name type in Jules.
In the title type in fan. Then ask a question in the lower box and send it direct to Jules
