I got mine from the partsgateway. It came with 3 month warranty so I could have returned it if it was faulty.
I think buying one of these second-hand is a risky business in any event. Getting your faulty unit fixed could bring you to a price where buying a new one may seem iike a better idea.

So far I've bid on three and lost all three, I'm going to take the plunge and buy new, at least I'll have 12 months warranty apart from anything else.

the units on ebay went for £92 and £78 so not a million miles away. ( both shooting up int last few seconds by snipers)
funnily enough the unit without the waterpump went for more than the other one.

Lads, I may have a source for another one or two of these things second-hand.
Give me a few days to sort it out if you want to go down the the "used" route. Nothing promised, mind you

Firmware is irrelevant and MGR made a pigs ear of their own version Most in our cars report as BMW Any Thermo Top C Diesel will do as you can always disconnect the K bus I have a freelander version in my car at the moment New Pcbs come with the heat exchanger an odd combination to be honest as they never need changing! but £200 odd quid is still cheaper than a new one and yours only needs a PCB tony I ran it for 40 odd minutes with my spare pcb Remember your box also contained the fuel pump and exhaust I would not send those back if I were you as you need them anyway Eammon you were lucky most I test are knackered Your unit was collected by the courier this morning btw |

Warning
When buying these check the rating plate If the unit says 12V 40W then it should have the plug on the PCB for the water pump. If it says 26W it will not, I bought a couple of those by mistake! |

Interparcel told me it was re-scheduled for tomorrow
Oh well, if its collected, its collected Two more queries, Keith (getting my monies morth here ) 1. I got a T100 from Paul. Do you have the wiring diagram for the engine bay plug. I assume 2 are power and one is for the FBH? 2. Will aT80 remote work with a T100. I would do a spare. Enjoy the free WiFi

I did - he told me to ask you .
I'll try him again, but there is not rush anyway. If I can't get it over the next few weeks, I'll come back to you.
