Firstly, id like to offer my apologies to Lasercutter. The bars are on their way via Parcelforce so i will PM the tracking to you.

Some interesting replies on here.

Secondly, anyone who knows me either in person at meets or on Facebook will be aware of the issues I have with my daughters illnesses. This often creates unforseen obstacles which need dealing with and which take priority. I am currently sat by her hospital bed following yet more surgery.

Thirdly, all the other recent items I sold have all been well recieved, nobody ever posts when everything goes well. I also did advertise items asking the buyers to send payments via Goods & Services so they have that protection.

It was just unfortunate that it took longer than expected to find a suitable enough box that offered adequate protection (you'll understand when you see it) in between addressing a number of other personal circumstances and my daughters care.

In response to the lynch mob suggesting ive been 'logging in and out'...i dont ever log out. My browser has the forum on a bookmark so anytime someone at home uses the laptop browser, all the pages refresh and because I never logout it appears that im online when its actually the missus shopping on another tab.

To those who offered reassuring feedback on my behalf, cheers.

Glad to read that this is being resolved, and will pray for your daughter and your family in what are obviously difficult times.

You shouldn't consider the posts as lynch mob mentality, rather see them as a reasonable response to a sustained period of non contact.

It's always smart to look at these things as if you weren't one of the people involved - do that and you'll find the concerns as understandable as they are explainable.

I wish you all the very best

For what Kev?

Not being able to read minds?

Sorry buddy, but there's nothing on this thread for anybody to hang their heads in shame about.

Basics - seller took £100 for an item, didn't deliver it, didn't reply to multiple private messages from the buyer but did reply within minutes to a facebook message from a friend. The buyer doesn't have the same knowledge of the seller's character as some who know him so that was literally ALL the information he had to go on.

I wish Alan and his family all the very best, and I'm sure when things improve and he has a moment to reflect he'll wish he'd taken a minute to send the OP a message or refund his money.

Of course his daughter is his priority, and now lasercutter knows the circumstances he'll understand, but it's really not fair to suggest anybody should hang their heads in shame.

We should lock this thread as a display of support for both buyer and seller imho.

So that gave people the right to call him 'thief' and before you say they did not, I print screened the comment ironically by a member that liked your post... that comment was removed by admin as it was inappropriate.

The guy has give his account and I for one say if the OP is happy with the sellers reply then he should request the thread to be closed.

Oh and the name is not Kev

Sorry I love following threads but struggle when a random comment is thrown in the mix, think it's an age thing.

For personal clarification, may I ask you to indulge me and explain the 'investigation key word' ?
Investigation of whom, what or when exactly?

as always I do appreciate participation

(Not) Kev .....
