Serious question now

How does the price and service in the pub restaurant compare between the Star and the Ely for lunch? Thanks

About a fiver I think Phil and they do. Carvery for around £10 nicer surroundings less cramped and hotel if one wanted to stay over, so its all good

I have never been to The Ely so I thought I would ask. Thanks Derek and thanks Mike for stepping forward Good reports so far and it's encouraging to hear that the food is cheaper than the Star. I had a look just now at the website for the Ely - £30 for a room for the night looks to be a good deal.
