Default Engine swap

Hi All, the engine on my 190 SE is knackered, looks like HGF and it's going to cost body parts to fix. I know where I can get a good engine for decent money, my questions are :

Is this a better option than having the HG done?
Does anyone know anyone who will collect and deliver a KV6 engine?
Does anyone know anyone in the north west who will swap the engine for me?

I'm rapidly going off this car...

How many miles has your engine done , and how many on the replacement ?
If yours is low mileage then definitely worth getting it repaired , but as said do check it really is HGF . What makes you think HGF ?:xmas-smiley-024:

Yeah, HGF would be low down on my diagnostics list on the KV6. If it is, however, it's worth fixing. It's not that bad a job if you read up on it and can wield a spanner!
