Default Paint re-spray

White Gold 2, GMN
I have a panel that is not a good match, I dont know why, all I know I did not notice it when I bought my R75 If I wanted to respray the panel, can I just use the aerosols available, or is there more to it? ie lacquer

Modern paints (two pack) require a professional bodyshop with low bake oven.

If you do that it will look 100 times worse. You need to blend the painted panel into the panel/s either side otherwise it will stick out like a saw thumb even in a proper body shop.

Respraying by hand using aerosols will give a poor finish. Probably worse than what you have now as with the best will in the world, over a body panel it will look patchy. I would look for a replacement panel in the same colour now or just nip down to a body shop and ask them if they could give it a blow over. It is much cheaper if you can rub the panel down your self and offer some beer money to any one that will listen to you. Mine cost 30 quid and a packet of fags. The bloke did it in his lunch break. You gotta be cheeky sometimes

Thanks guys, I'll leave for now. I'll put the feelers out for someone who knows what they're doing.
