are you talking about a front or a rear?

There is an excellent how to on replacing a rear hub.

As long as you have the correct tools not too bad. It is a pretty big (technical term!) nut that keeps the drive shaft on. Check out Haynes manual.
Much easier than trying to get the old wheel bearing out!

Cheers its the front NS, Rotrex did fit a new sensor but as soon as Ross turned the wheel the thing failed and all the warning lights came back on, so we think the next step is replace the whole thing, Ross is buying a Haynes manual this week

The MOT is in April and if we cant get it fixed ourselves I dont know if I can afford the garage cost

The Front Bearings have the Sensor ring on them. So a new Bearing would be needed. These need to be pressed in. So if you have a Vice you can carefully press them in yourself. But you do need to keep the Bearing perfectly straight as any fluctuation from that can damage the Bearing/ Hub / Ring.

If you are replacing the entire Hub, then not too sure how much of a Job, never done one myself

The wheel nut is 32mm - it is a big boy and takes a lot of effort to remove, I bought a Breaker Bar, for a few quid it was worth it, but even that needed a helping hand with a tube extension
