Well the weather changed as forecast & the sun came out this afternoon , Very warm again. Wonders never cease! The wayward mobile phone I ordered for my missus has turned up too
Just need the window guys to turn up & finish the job then I can finish the decking area. Those cable window opener restrictors for the bedroom windows have arrived I ordered off the ebay too so just fitted those so they only open so far so the cats cant get out as it's too hot in the night time for me without some fresh air. Going to water all the plants later & cooking some gammon steaks & fried rice for tea tonight.

Evening all.
Been getting Banana ready for Sunday’s MG Cars in the Park. Cleaning the awkward areas with a toothbrush brush and cotton buds. Steak n chips for tea. Just a couple of ciders to keep the dust down.

Good morning all,
Well I would like to share some good news, the other day I had to visit 2 hospitals in London for 2 different scans. The results of the vascular ultrasound scan showed the Saphenous vein is in excellent condition and is good enough to be used as a graft in a bypass operation. The other one, a CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis was a monitoring scan and I won’t get the results until I see the surgeon on the 7th June. The next step from him will be to arrange a date for the bypass. Hopefully that will be the last of it. Although essential and needs must, 4 operations in 5 years are becoming tiring, the last one really took it out of me but it saved my life. So now it’s back to the routine of doing more exercise and building myself up again. What is everyone up to? |

Morning Phil, Great news indeed Sir. At least you know what to expect with the surgery and recovery time. I'm off to Braintree for work this morning and nipping to see the Old Pot and Pan afterwards. Going to discuss the possibility of a trip to Brands Hatch at the start of next month for this... https://www.brandshatch.co.uk/calend...YMs2KbcAMI3qqM
