Please guys, no phone calls for Rod as he prefers receiving text messages, thank you. He said today, he is not very good on the phone.
I won’t bother him any more, just if we get asked to text him again, then I will.

Screw gardening I was doing the weeding rain prevented yesterday, on the slope at the front of the front garden. I was stepping from the slope to the garden proper, one foot on the slope, one foot on the gravel at the top. Foot on the slope slipped and I came down on my knee on the gravel and one hand, bucket was in the other. Cut my knee and soon after realised I've jerked my shoulder quite badly, its aching

I am not sure why you would not bother Rod anymore. Please do not be offended Richard because Rod asks for no phone calls from anyone.

With Parkinson’s Disease he will have difficulty speaking to anyone on the phone, his speech will not be clear, it will be slurred and often there is dribbling whereby the inside of the mouth delivers excessive saliva, so please do not be offended when Rod prefers contact by text messages. Talking for Rod is a struggle and it’s nothing personal against anyone.

Dawn and Julien

A wonderful and encouraging message from you both, which I will pass onto Jessica, thank you very much for finding the time to write. She has a new hip, 30 plus years lifespan, a new Titanium joint hammered into her femur. Jessica is going to do well, thank you.

That is great news Phil, after all she has been through. Please pass my best regards and wishes for her to be fully mobile very soon. A friend of mine is his 80s had it done and was absolutely fine within a couple of weeks and walking without a stick after a month or so.

cheers Jennifer

Thank you Jennifer, I just read your beautiful letter out to Jessica and the scenario you described for your friend in his 80’s would be highly desirable for Jessica, thank you very much.

Best wishes
Philip

No huff has been about Rod Phil, I always got well with him. I don’t want to pester him with another text very soon. I sent you a text saying what I mean, I haven’t taken a huff at all,
