Evening all, in reflective mode tonight, been to two funerals in as many days. Yesterday was someone who I used to work with, today was a friend of my dad’’s who I have known since I was 5/6 years old, and I am still friends with his son in law.
I feel quite low tonight, as today has re opened old wounds that haven’t yet fully healed. Brought back memories of my own recent loss.

Cool

Good morning everyone, it is bright and breezy down here in Devon. Going to be a busy day today as we have galvanised shed to build and two cars to get ready for our trip to a foreign land tomorrow.

Those were a favourite toffee when I had pocket money from my paper round to buy them as a kid.

Been there Rich. After losing my parents three aunts and uncles passed away within months. I reached the point where I was "funeraled out", I simply couldn't attend the third funeral.

There is another one on Tuesday, but I am not going to that, I was planning to when I first found out about the person’s passing, but that was before I heard about the two people who I knew alot more.

Just had a call from Ging, she's coming home today but was calling into Manchester to have a coffee with a friend. On the train somebody went to get their bag from the rack above her, a big, heavy thermos flask fell out of the bag and smacked her on the head resulting in a cut! She had to be treated by a first aider at the station in Manchester. She was going to make a day out of it and have a wander across to York but she's heading straight here.
