No metrinch are spanners designed to work on both metric and imperial nuts, great if you are in a hurry and the bolts aren't rusty, I bought my dad a set of them many years ago as they sounded like a good idea, they are one of the few tools I haven't pinched from his garage 😁

Like you say vastly expensive now. When i bought them around 50 years ago they were dearbut the best quality around, as has been proven to me and you.
