Add a Viking badge Palwing off Christopher's car, to make it extra rare,
I'm sure he won't mind!

Why didn't you say it was a Hedge trimmer before Keith,
Douglas could be good for mine 50yds 7' tall, could he cope, the Sides may be a bit difficult keeping on!
That means another Question to send.

Good luck Palwing and Douglas
Sort of nice to see the questions have died down so with only a couple of hours to go there might now be some serious bidding!

I wonder if it will top 2000 hits before the end?

Looks like Douglas has a new owner, providing the transaction goes through okay.

Well done and thanks again for the humorous story of Douglas.

I wonder what the buyer thought when reading those very strange Q&A's..

Talking Douglas update

Hi all. Well Douglas is due to go this weekend to his new owner. I sent an e-mail today asking if the lady would like to have Douglas for this weekend? Here is her reply! Only Douglas could be THIS famous?

Yes please!!!

Last Saturday my son and I were returning from a visit to Norwich and had to get petrol...........there was a guy at the air pump, who looked just like you (I'm presuming it's you in the photos) trailing an orange ride own mower. I went into sheer excitement mode and rushed over (much to my son's sheer embarrassment) and screamed 'is it Douglas, is it Douglas?' ............his response was 'so you saw the ad too', he then proceeded to tell me he bid £250+.............which I think was the bid before me. Amazing or what? Douglas rules OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He had just picked up his ride on also from Ebay..........cheaper than Douglas but without the charisma!

Douglas may find this amusing, my son and I attempted to cut the grass at the weekend with a Flymo but had to abandon as it kept spitting out the blades until we had no more and for a finale started to belch smoke!

Meant to ask has Douglas been to the Health farm recently or is will he need to go to Rehab ?

Let me know what day and time convenient for you.

Regards,
M
