Seancar hoax

Just had a email from [email protected] I am sure this is a spoof email I cannot see Seancar sending emails to members of the forum?

"I'm writing this with tears in my eyes, I and my family presently on a short trip to Rome, Italy. Unfortunately, I was robbed in the hotel I booked, all my valuables which includes cash, mobile phones were stolen during the attack but luckily I still have my passport with me.

I've been to the Embassy and the Police here but they are not taking the matter seriously. Please, I really need your financial assistance now because things are really getting tough on me here. Our flight leaves in few hours from now but we're having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills. Please, let me know if you can help us out?

I'll really appreciate your prompt response.

I am hoping this is a spoof email, just in case anyone else receives it.

Looks like a spoof to me.

There are no spelling mistakes and the grammar is weird, not like the usual posts we see from him.

Just about to post the exact same email I have just received.... Something amiss me thinks.

It's written with paragraphs and punctuation, that probably means its spoof

I agree with Ian - I would hate to be proved wrong, but I can't believe that Sean typed that email (no disrespect Sean).

I have received a hoax e mail allegedly from Seancar saying that he is stranded in Italy and needs financial assistance in order to get home. They
are very persistent these parasites aren't they?
