Cambelt, tensioner, water pump, thermostat all done.
All looked original, not even a nick out of the head of a single bolt. At 93k miles! Oil, filters and plugs this weekend and she'll be purring... even more quietly.

Wondering if my replacement thermostat is dodgy and stuck open - car won't go above 65c unless sitting in traffic.

Indeed I have, and it a complete pain in the NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-.
I suspect a blocked or airlocked heater matrix at the moment.

Above has been resolved, plus:
- A breakdown from a coil pack going. - Subsequently doing those, plugs and leads. I've just done the injectors and noticed a few parts are worse for wear; one being the throttle body hose (MAH101070) and another pipe (or rather a broken plastic fitting connector) that comes off the n/s of the fuel rail. I've had a look at a lot of diagrams on Rimmer Bros and can't figure out what the latter is?

With regards to the door seal,I found that the passenger side is the same, and if you go to a breakers yard, you can pick one up that hasn't had the wear of a drivers side.Ken.
