This lovely ten year old girl has just come in to the rescue.
She was sadly surrendered as her owner has had to move and care for his elderly Dad who has dementia. Unfortunately the Dad was unkind to the cat because of his illness and so she finds herself with us at the rescue. All I can say is what a lovely good natured girl she is. I'm sure she will soon find her new 'forever' home and will become a wonderful companion to her new family EY7P0390-Edit by Jeff Cranwell, on Flickr

Good morning Bob and a hearty welcome to the guests visiting, do join in.... How is everyone? My 4x4 came back on Friday from the industrial area of Nairobi covered in filth and mud, so last night I left it outside the car port. We had torrential and heavy rains during the night, so I am hoping the car will be looking shiny and clean. Tomorrow it’s having new front shocks as the old ones are worn out. A warm day today is anticipated, 27C and humid.
What’s everyone up to? |

Ah! We're back! I kept getting Database error all morning when trying to log in.
It's been chucking it down all night & forecast for more heavy rain today I took my sister to B&Q to pick up some things she ordered & I've been to collect a wheelie bin from a neighbour that said the council never came to collect it from 12 months ago I've cleaned & bleached it and cut one side of it out & drilled holes in the opposite end and screwed the lid shut, It will be laid on it's side for my new container for growing spuds Soup weather so as there are 4 chicken thighs in the freezer and a ton of veggies I'm making more soup The missus is down with a stinking cold & hacking chest so I'm making fresh lemon & honey hot drinks for her.

A full meal Jeff I was chatting to a mechanic yesterday who was walking with a limp. He is from the Maasai tribe and his Doctor has told him he has gout in his big toe, so no more red meat and no drinking blood from the cow. I think he will find it hard to give up both.

Evening all, It's been rainy weather for most of the day with more to come with storm Brendon moving in over the next two days.
I'll have to get some things tidied away tomorrow. Bubble n squeak with herby Italian sausages for tea, no pic tonight as the batteries in my camera have died. I'm on the Deutsche Bahn bound for Leipzig tonight.

Been lovely here today, popped over to Morpeth this morning to take mother diesel’s car for a run, it just sits most of the time as she can’t get out with looking after my dad.
Had a drive over to Lambley viaduct & had a ice little walk, then to the Wallace arms at featherstone for refreshment & then back home. Pork tenderloin madras for tea |
