Yes Ive seen this on a friend's car. Opened up the drive and cleaned up the circuit board and resolved. In the short term un-plug it and see if the parasitic drain it still there.....

Rick, get your original battery on a charger NOW. Don't leave it in a discharged condition and remember, charge for at least 24 hours NOT 2! Simon
