Default December 2019 Car Mechanics Magazine KV6 Timing Belt Change

If it is of any help to anyone, there is a step by step feature on changing a KV6 timing belt in this month's issue of Car Mechanics Magazine. Pretty in depth too.

I haven't seen that issue but I imagine it is a reprint of the articles which first appeared about fifteen years ago. After doing the job myself I reviewed the Car Mechanics account and promptly consigned my copies of the magazine to the recycling bin. I wouldn't recommend that anyone relies upon it.

I would have to agree, what needs to be done is like those magazines where you build a model over several months, only to find you've missed a copy....to use that particular method instead

I find these type of articles interesting, as you often find alternative slants on the same job, which make doing the job much easier............provided you keep an open mind that is
