The missus is putting the Christmas tree up & the ninja cats have almost toppled it twice

It's terrible wild & chucking it down out there, Coming out of town this afternoon my missus said a shop selling real Christmas trees the chap was chasing them down the high street after them after they went airborne with the high winds.

Cool

Morning everyone.

Well at least it has stopped raining, for now. Supposed to be bad again tomorrow and Friday. And we are away to distant shores then.

Morning all - just off to the doctors where the vampire (sorry, practice nurse!) will extract some of my blood for testing. It's time for my annual diabetes and coronary heart disease reviews - the usual lectures on healthy eating, exercise and the consequences of too high a BMI will no doubt follow next week

Bejesus - it's cold out there. Being a gentleman, I put a short sleeved shirt on for my visit to the doctors this morning - makes it easier for the nurse to extract blood and check my blood pressure. Regretted it as soon as I opened my front door - the wind has died down a lot since yesterday, but by 'eck it hasn't half increased in the chill factor.
At least the first part of my medical check-ups is now complete, samples have been supplied and others taken. Now I await the pleasure (?) of getting the results when I see the appropriate speciality nurses - daiabetic next week, but there's a queue to see the Coronary Heart Disease lassie - she's fully booked and I was told to ring after Christmas to see if any appointments are then available
