Default Car won't start

Hello all I have a r75 1.8 saloon I ran out of petrol (the gauge was faulty) I put some petrol in from a can and now the car won't start, I have fuel up to the injector rail and I have power through the coil packs to plugs is there anything I'm missing before stripping out the injectors any help appreciated thanks Graham

Before doing anything, it might be worth reading up on Fuel Filter Syndrome (FFS).
Put FFS in the Google based forum search engine (top of first page).
