Dudes... can we please keep it a bit civilized? Asking somebody to leave and read some stuff isn't very nice. Everybody here is entitled to their own opinion, even if that opinion is completely wrong.
And as long as nobody comes up with some scientific formula, backed up with difficult equations and a picture of graduate day at the uni (holding hands with Stephen Hawking), I consider everybodies 'knowledge' an 'opinion' (with all due respect of course). I found a problem with testing... The device automatically shuts off when the car battery reaches a certain charge (somewhere around 12v I guess). Since my car battery is in great condition, the device 'senses' that there is more than enough power/charge in the battery to start the car. So the device doesn't switch on. It needs a battery that is much more empty before it actually does anything. So basically; car battery topped up = device not working. Car battery totally empty = device not working. Car battery somewhere in between = device works.

Batteries----NO. As Harry said ( And maybe you have noticed ) Batteries are NOT buckets. ( Totally different size and shape for a start. ) |

Great debate, this-------------Now don't forget folks it's chemicals reacting inside a battery. Just cos the product comes out travelling at 186,000 miles per second doesn't mean the internal reaction is going at that speed.
You can play about with figures and boost output and reduce times but the battery can't join in the fun. Too high an output in too short a time and the battery quite happily goes into meltdown. Batteries are DELICATE things and should be treated as such. |

Not quite sure if this would classify as a debate. Too many egos at stake. I'm happy to poke but haven't seen a decent scientific argument yet. Maybe formulas don't have a place at this forum but I do have a PM-box ????? Last edited by VMax1000; 19th May 2014 at 21:05.. |
