I know from the classic forum they all run theirs on 20w50 with the odd exception of 15w50 but I do think 20w50 seems a bit thick for a hydraulic tappet?

That one looks reeeallly nice. Wouldn't mind it. Not too far from me either, just a ferry crossing... But no. Too many cars too little time.

(and I'd quite fancy a low-mileage 1984 Merc 190 which I have found)

The same here, too many cars. Otherwise I would have bought it and then told you about it

What colour is that Marina anyway? Never seen one in that sort of purple shade. Was that an original colour?

I'm no expert but it looks like black tulip.

Took the P6 down to mothers last night. Done about 250 miles since Friday evening. She lives out in the sticks in Somerset. Had to go down lanes so steep where you have to stop to pull away that a 3 speed auto was not impressed! Add to that that the roads were so narrow you had hedge bashing on both sides. Put it this way, Marina 2 will never be visiting! I've only been twice before in Marina 1 and went a different way. A better way. Have to say though. The P6 went beautifully. It's the longest run it's had in my ownership.

Hope you didn´t scratch the P6

The Marina was classed as a red. Looks like a maroon colour
