Default How to get a 75 (and other modern cars) onto ramps.

Many people have noticed that ramps can't be used with the 75 because the bumper fouls on the ramp before the wheel starts to go up. I had the same problem with another car of mine as well, so was getting fed up of having to use a trolley jack and axle stands.

So I made these, out of a piece (or was it two) of MDF and a bit of wooden beam. As it's all in compression, there's no risk of breakage, and the car is on the steel when you are underneath.

I've used it many times with both cars now, and it also helps to get the car started up the slope without so much clutch slipping.

You will need to measure your own ramps, and make to suit.

I use two short lengths of scaffolding board (about 2ft long) in front of each ramp.....
