I've ordered 2 of...I've got my shears somewhere, I could let you have an eighth of a one!! As you were out of the country at the time

JDC, with all the work you put in prior to the event, and your unexpected "removal" due to unavoidable work commitment, I would strongly support your case in being eligible to hold this proud honour. But, The Yellow Peril has the final say

This looks like "passing the buck", but in discussion with Andrew, we decided that only those members who actively took part, or participated in the organisation of, the event should be eligible. But with the amount of work that you put in to organise your Stage 5, (and the co-ordination of the hand-overs, from Stage 4 to Stage 6) you should, in my opinion, be an eligible recipient of this unique badge, and have a place in the roll of honour of the R75's and the Club's history.

Could be opening a can of worms here, but I am well aware of your enthusiasm leading up to the event. It's a shame that you were not available. I am sure that TimO (who did the whole North Wales Stage) would concur....

In the meanwhile I will "talk" to Andrew............. For a final decision, as I am not fully aware of the UK scenario...

PS - I do not think that there is a "Reserve list" - Orders are as ordered, due to the short production run and the numbers involved... There will not be a re-production of these badges once the initial order has been placed.

25.5. JDC (As a Stage Coordinator you most definitely qualify - end of)

by my reckoning, thats just about everyone, however I would like to present one to Carl Chinn, BBC Radio WM, for being the only media person/organization to give us decent air-time, and he is a Rover 75 driver as well.

Any one got any objections?

Is there anyone else I've forgotten? Does anyone know if the guy in the Black car that joined in on Stage 6 has registered yet?

Andrew

Andy, I havnt seen Scooterchick or DerekOSB on the list - surely they will want one? And Anna had her hubby with her. Also BLman was on our stage - I had PMd him days ago but no reply to date.

Apart from the names on the list, I've reserved one for everyone that took part as a mater of course.

I did pm everyone on the relay contact handover sheet, so perhaps they are on holiday?

Thats great - I have just realised Andy that I think DerekOSB has gone on holiday so he probably missed the post.
