Nice car but non-SE & absolutely no extra's!
I could never understand why MGR didn't build all 260's in at least SE spec.
Manual non-heated seats & probably won't even have electric rear windows.
What a shame but it is a nice looking car.
Worth 15k plus?.......not sure about that one?

100% Agree, it doesnt even have Xenons! not even projectors, its a real shame.
My 190 is a much better spec, i mean it'd be great to have cruise (which i actually have in a box just need to fit it) and traction but barring those two there's nothing more that can be added.

Cool

My ZTT V8 400 fitted with Kenne Bell Supercharger is poverty spec. No toys, less weight, and less to go wrong. Keep fit rear window winders, but I don't sit in the back. No need for toys when you have 400bhp on tap and no traction control either.
Other than the S/C, Xpower back boxes, Walnut dashboard with matching steering wheel and factory made mud flaps the car is totally standard. The thing is you can always add the bits that you want.

And the Best Bit it's up For Sale. Have a look over on the For Sale section, also on the 260's forum. Less than 50,000 miles and has MOT than runs out in August 2018.

Mine is non SE but most of the toys have been retrofitted by previous owners. I did consider fitting electric windows but what's the point, rarely anybody in the back.

What a wolf in sheeps clothing! If as quick as the seller says, it will be a brave person that pulls away from it on the motorway. Bit of a shock that thinks its just a Rover 75

Its surprising how few people know the V8s exist. I had mine in for a bit of paint a couple of years ago and the boss of the shop was just about selling tickets for people to view it!

I dont mean it in a nasty way, just when spending that amout of money on a car i want it to have all the creature comforts.
I know we are all enthusiants but most people wont speed or even use the V8 to its potensial, so i want to sit and have things to play with.

I mean take the older gen E55 or E63's (Merc's) you can get one for about the same or sometimes less money than what your Zt is up for, and they come with a ~500bhp 5.5 Supercharged V8 or a 6.2 V8 N/A and have massage seats, dynamic bolsters, sat nav, electric windows all round, heated/cooled seats, heated rears, fully memory electric driver and passagner, pan roof, Electric steering wheel, TPMS, dynamic suspension, Adaptive Cruise control and a whole load of other stuff.
In fact here is a link to one on AutoTrader so you can see what i mean.

E63 515Bhp

And Here's a E500 so not the sport model, still comes with a 5.0 V8 and 380bhp, and has all the comfort inside.

E500
And its under £11k

Im not bashing the ZT V8 as they are a collectors car and will be worth money in years to come, but for me i'll never have one, i drove one and it didnt really drive that nice, felt wrong... suits being a FWD platform more so than it does RWD.
Although i'd love to have one just to enter the drift championship... for no other reason other than it would be great as its such a long wheel base, and NO ONE has ever drifted one, its all BMW's and Jap stuff... be nice to get a MG going sideways showing them how its done.
But i'd never ruin one like that, its just something i'd love to do.

I was at at the Breakfast meet in Denham on Sunday when a forum member said that he had never seen a V8 ZTT. When I opened the bonnet he was surprised it was a Ford lump, he was expecting the old Rover lump. I then had to give him the history on how these came about.
As you have said there are a lot of people that are unware these cars exist.
