Front or rear?
Rear would be ok as you can see condition easily enough fronts though could have damaged ball joint or rubbers.

Paul,
there are two lower arms at the front which are handed and two lower arms at the back. The front lower arms do fail but the rear lower arms I have never seen fail. The rear does have upper arms that do fail but again are handed. You need to get more info for whoever is telling you they need replacing and if its your launch model, why so soon after your MOT?

If it is what the spring sits in then they are the upper arms. Hard to find Good ones but not impossible, New ones readily available, for a price.
