Fuses
Is there one fuse that controls the temp/fuel gauge, speedo/rev counter, and hiline satnav radio?
None of the above working, message centre and milometer work though Last edited by SMC Trading; 24th March 2009 at 10:41.. |

The early passenger fuse panel (up to VIN 279844) fuse 11 is common to both the instrument pack and the audio system, may be different for later panels.

Sorry, got that wrong, it's fusible link 3 in the engine compartment panel that is common to both, but that is 50 amps and feeds several things as well, so I doubt if that is your problem.

Thank you sooooo much Ray, replaced the No.3 link and all the instruments now work, it had been jump started by an idiot, however, the hiline satnav/TV radio head unit will not turn on, anything else I should look at? |

Check the back of the unit. Some units have a fuse included that protects in case of a reverse polarity connection. Only tends to apply to radios and similkar because they have to be protected in a different way to most electronics. I'll explain if anyone is interested!
